There can be no meaningful progress where there is no peace.
Security is the bedrock upon which every other development rests. Security is everyone’s business, when you see something say something.
When our communities and local governments are safe and secure, businesses flourish because investors and traders have confidence. When people feel protected, they can go about their daily activities without fear. Children attend school and learn in a peaceful environment. Farmers go to their farms and cultivate with confidence, knowing their lives and harvests are safe.
It is for this reason that we must continue to support every initiative, policy, and partnership that strengthens security at all levels – federal, state, and community. Lasting development, job creation, food security, and national prosperity all begin with the protection of lives and property.
A greater Nigeria and a peaceful, secure citizenry is not just a dream. It is very possible. But it will take the collective will of government, security agencies, community leaders, religious leaders, and citizens working together.
Together, we can build a strong, vibrant, and prosperous Nation.
Let us build a Nation that works for all.
