SDP Passes Vote of Confidence on Hon. Moses Oricha Peters; Adopts Replacement of State Women Leader, State Publicity Secretary
The State Executive Council of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), on 3/7/2025, passed a vote of confidence on the State Chairman of the party, Distinguished, Chief (Hon) Moses Oricha Peters.
In a unanimous vote affirmation, adopting the confidence vote, the members of SEC of the SDP, declared total loyalty and submission to the leadership of Hon. Moses, at the State.
The SEC noted, that the tenure of the current leadership of the party in the State remains undisputedly valid till 19th April, 2026.
SEC adopted the replacement of the State Women Leader, who had since defected from the party and the State Publicity Secretary, who has been out of the country for good since early 2023.
SEC, therefore, adopted Hajia Mariam Abubakar, from Ankpa LGA as State Women Leader, and Comrade Ochedi Shaibu Udale, from Idah LGA, as State Publicity Secretary of the party respectively.
The SEC meeting which held at the State Secretariat of the party in Lokoja, was well attended by dedicated members of the State Working Committee (SWC), North Central (Zonal) Publicity Secretary, Engr. Lawal, LGA Party Chairmen, and relevant stakeholders.
