SDP Chieftain in Kogi Joins PDP


Former chieftain and House of Representatives candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Hon. Sani Idakwo Philips has decamped to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Idakwo who decamped to the PDP at his Odu country home in Dekina local government area of Kogi state on Sunday afternoon was received into the party by the PDP Ward Chairman, Mr Noah Yesufu alongside members of the Ward Executive Committee.

Idakwo stated that popularity and acceptability of a candidate alone does not guarantee electoral victory but also the political party machinery that sponsors a candidate.

He described the PDP as the only viable and potent political party in the state with the capacity of unseating the incompetent APC-led administration.

In his welcome remarks, the PDP Ward Chairman, Mr Noah Yesufu described Idakwo as an astute politician and business man promising to carry him along in all activities of the party at the ward level.

Sani Idakwo Philips hails from Odu Adepka, Odu Ward 1 in Dekina Local Government Area of Kogi State.
