Schools Resumption: Kogi Education Commissioner Expresses Satisfaction With Turnout, Compliance.


 

 

The Kogi State Commissioner for Education Science and Technology, Hon. Wemi Jones has expressed satisfaction with the turnout and compliances with the Covid19 protocols following the resumption of schools in the State today.

Hon. Wemi Jones gave the commendation at Crowther Memorial College Lokoja, shortly after visiting other schools in the metropolis, reiterated the State Government’s resolve to protect lives and properties.

While maintaining that Kogi State is covid19 free, he however stressed the need to ensure safety by obeying laid down protocols, urged the students to ensure that washing of hands and other covid19 rules are obeyed.

He expressed satisfaction with the turnout and enthusiasm shown by the Teachers and Students, explained that the need to hit the ground running in the remaining weeks left for the term remains important, said the state government will follow the remodified calendar strictly.

He commended the Principals and Teachers of schools visited for their large turnout, assured that the State Government is committed to improved welfare, quality of learning and Teaching in the state.
