SAM ARO PLAYS SELFLESS POLITICS; A BETTER OPTION FOR THE SENATE SEAT COME 2027

Ahead of the 2027 general elections, Chief Richard Asaje has expressed the view that *Sam Aro Bamidele* is the best choice for the Senate seat representing Kogi West in the Red Chamber. In a personally signed statement, Chief Asaje noted that Sam Aro demonstrated selfless politics during his tenure as a member of the House of Representatives, representing the Yagba Federal Constituency.
Chief Asaje stated, “The 2027 election year is fast approaching, and while many aspirants are campaigning for votes, some are resorting to trivial gimmicks and sentimental issues that have little substance. The Senate seat must remain in Yagba land.”
According to him, Sam Aro is a man of the people, whose political influence grew from his genuine love for the masses and their welfare. “Aro remains a prominent figure in Yagba, Okun, and Kogi West politics. Though his efforts often go unnoticed, his impact is undeniable. He is eminently qualified, charismatic, and cosmopolitan, with a proven record of outstanding leadership, bridge-building, and unity during his years in the House of Representatives,” Asaje added.
Asaje emphasized that Sam Aro has always viewed public office as a temporary call to service—a commitment to improving the lives of every citizen, rather than a lifelong title or means of personal enrichment.
He continued, “Sam Aro was the first politician in Okun land to monetize politics in a positive way. While other politicians would give out N2,000 regardless of what you sacrificed for them, Aro appreciates and compensates generously, often giving millions. He is a pride to Yagba, Okun, Kogi West, and beyond.”
Asaje recalled his early support for Leke Abejide, noting that despite criticism, Abejide has performed excellently. He drew a parallel with Sam Aro, stating, “Sam Aro is a better option for the Senate seat in 2027. He is democratic to the core, a performer, and an excellent representative. With him, we can expect nothing less than progressive governance, infrastructure development, and economic growth.”
Chief Asaje concluded, “Sam Aro remains the best option for the Senate seat in 2027. We shall employ necessary political strategies to retain the Senate seat in Yagba land. He is a silent achiever, a bridge-builder, and a unifier who has consistently put the interests of the people first.”
