A Germany-based businessman and Chieftain of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) from Oyo State has felicitated with Muslim faithful in Nigeria and worldwide on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el-Kabir, wishing them a blissful and hitch-free celebration.
Segelu, an aspirant for the Lagelu/Akinyele Federal Constituency seat in the House Of Reps in the 2023 elections, urged that the Sallah celebration should be seen as a moment of reflection, a period to show unalloyed love to one another and a time to pray for the progress of Nigeria.
The PDP stalwart, in a statement, said he distributed some bags of rice, rams, cow and other food stuff to some selected members of his constituency to support them considering the harsh economic situation where people are finding it tough to survive.
He implored the people of Oyo State and Nigerians to keep hope alive and remain steadfast in their faith in God, believing that things will change for good as President Bola Ahmed Tinubu continues to pilot affairs of the country.
While noting that the Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde was leaving no stone unturned to transform the state and make life better for the citizens, Hon. Segelu further enjoined Nigerians to pray for the country’s leaders and give them all the needed support to encourage them to lead well.
