Sallah Homage: Ohimegye leads delegation to meet Ex-Kogi Gov. Bello in Okene.
His Royal Majesty, Ohimegye Igu Koton-karfe, Dr. Saidu Akawu Salihu, and Kogi LG stakeholders; Engr. Abubakar Bashir Gegu, Commissioner for Solid Minerals and Natural Resources, Barrister Muhammed Musa Tanko, Executive Chairman Kogi State Civil Service Commission, Hon Abdulmalik Musa, Executive Chairman Kogi LGC, Hon Muhammed Shuaibu Asio, Special Adviser to Governor on Emergency, and host of other critical stakeholders from Kogi LGA visited Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, the immediate past Governor of Kogi State, at his Okene residence.
The Kogi LG leaders congratulated the former Governor on Eid-el-Kabir celebration and wish him well
The two-hour meeting was also attended by traditional rulers from Girinya, Gegu Beki and others, who expressed appreciation to the leadership of the former Governor, passed a vote of confidence on Gov. Usman Ahmed Ododo.
The Ohimegye Igu Kingdom, Dr. Saidu Akawu Salihu, offered prayers for the former and immediate Governor, assured of the loyalty and support of the people of Igu Kingdom.
