In a significant step towards fostering bilateral relations and economic collaboration, Rt. Hon. Paul Gowon Haruna IJN, Member representing Bassa/Dekina Federal Constituency and Chairman House Committee on Parliamentary Friendship with Vietnam, participated in the Vietnam-Nigeria Business Meeting titled “Exploring Business Opportunities for Cooperation and Development.” The event took place today at the Nigeria Armed Forces Officers’ Mess in Maitama, Abuja.
The meeting gathered key stakeholders from both nations, including business leaders, policymakers, and diplomats, to discuss avenues for mutual growth and strategic partnerships. As the Chairman of the Committee on Parliamentary Friendship with Vietnam, Rt. Hon. Paul Gowon Haruna emphasized the importance of strengthening economic ties between Nigeria and Vietnam, highlighting sectors such as agriculture, manufacturing, technology, and trade as potential areas for investment and collaboration.
He underscored the benefits that such partnerships could bring to the Nigerian economy, particularly in job creation and technology transfer.
