Owolabi’s report indicated that the host team, Riverpark FC, topped Group A in emphatic fashion. Riverpark FC won all three of their matches to finish the group stage with a perfect nine points and a superior +9 goal difference.
The host sealed their dominance on Saturday, October 31, 2026 with a ruthless 4-1 thrashing of Gazebo FC, extending their 100% winning streak and firmly confirming their status as tournament favourites. Joining them from Group A is Elite FC, which secured the second semi-final ticket with six points after holding Zealfield FA to a 1-1 draw in their final group fixture.
Meanwhile, Group B saw a much tighter battle for supremacy. Titans FC emerged as group winners, remaining undefeated to finish with five points. Their place at the top of the standings was confirmed following a hard-fought 1-1 draw against CRD FC.
