Rotary Club donates photocopier machine to school for Special Needs, Ilorin


 

As part of its social responsibility to its host cuommunity, the Ilorin Metro of Rotary Club has donated a photocopier machine and other items to the Kwara state School for Special needs to mark its ninth year anniversary.

Speaking during the presentation, chairman, Ilorin Metro of Rotary Club, Rotarian Yousouff Sandar, said that members of Rotary Club would not relent in giving back to society within their available resources to complement government’s efforts in infrastructural development.

Sandar, who reiterated commitment of the Rotary Club, both home and in diaspora, to humanitarian service
said the Club was ready to continue in the service to humanity, stressing that Rotary led in supporting government to eradicate Polio, provision of potable water and sanitation in rural communities across the state.

Also speaking, the Principal, school for Special Needs, Ilorin, Hajia Fausat Aroyehun, commended the Club for its generosity, saying the gift would solve part of challenges the school is facing.

She urged other well meaning Nigerians, group, and individuals to emulate the kind gesture and not to forget the special children.
