Your Excellency,
REQUEST FOR THE DEPLOYMENT OF SOLDIERS TO SELECTED SCHOOLS IN OGORI-MAGONGO LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA.
I write to formally draw Your Excellency’s urgent attention to the security threats facing some unfenced public schools within the LGA.
The affected schools are:
1. Community Comprehensive High School, Ogori
2. Magongo Community Secondary School, Magongo
3. LGEA Primary School, Odiobo, Ogori
These schools are located on the outskirts of their respective communities and along the boundary between Ogori and Magongo, making them particularly vulnerable to security threats and possible invasion by criminal elements.
We have an Army Forward Operation Base (FOB) in Ogori-Magongo LGA with over twenty soldiers stationed there. In view of the security concerns surrounding these schools, we respectfully appeal to Your Excellency to approve the temporary deployment of six soldiers, with two soldiers assigned to each school.
We propose that the personnel resume duty at the schools from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. daily during school hours. Their presence will provide reassurance to students, teachers, and parents while enhancing the overall security of the learning environment.
We trust in Your Excellency’s commitment to the safety of lives and property and humbly request your favourable consideration of this appeal.
