Rep. Halims Rejoices With CEDO @47, Says His Footprints Will Always Be Remembered

The Chairman of the House of Representatives’ Committee on Steel Development and member Representing Ankpa, Omala and Olamaboro Federal Constituency of Kogi State, Hon. Abdullahi Ibrahim Ali Halims has congratulated the Deputy Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency, Chief Edward David Onoja, as he clocks forty seven years old.

Rep. Halims in a statement by his Legislative Aide on Information, Visual and Strategic Operations, Comr. A. M. Nasiru, on Monday said that on the auspicious occasion of the 47th birthday of the Deputy Governor, he joined all family members and friends of the veteran Strategist in celebrating his milestone.

He also congratulated him for his many years of love and sacrifices for the nation, especially in his chosen career and profession, banking and mining, respectively.

Rep. Halims recalled, with delight, Edward’s remarkable brilliance from young age at the Federal Government College, Kwali and University of Jos which caught the attention of many well wishers, leading to him been greatly revered by classmates, noting that the knowledge had, overtime, only translated into more wisdom.

The Federal Lawmaker rejoiced with the renowned banker and bibliophile, who worked with the Guarantee Trust Bank for a while before joining the Oil Industry, where he rose to the position of a Manager, before venturing to the private sector as an entrepreneur, inspiring industrial growth of youths in the North Central through hair styling, looks care and and other investments.

Halims noted that his footprint in the development of Kogi State, and quintessential attention to human and social development, will always be remembered and appreciated, extolling him for the visionary role he played in the banking sector, management of companies, and development of many successful politicians within and outside Kogi State.

The People’s Rep prayed that the Almighty God will grant longer life to the Deputy Governor who described as a Civilian General, and more strength to keep pursuing his profound passion of serving humanity, especially through philanthropy.
