Bassey Akiba, has commended the Governor of Cross River State, His Excellency, Senator (Prince) Bassey Edet Otu, for the courageous and strategic step taken in reclaiming the management and control of the Tinapa Business and Leisure Resort from the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON).

“In a statement, Rep. Akiba described the move as a landmark achievement and a bold demonstration of unwavering commitment toward stimulating economic growth and repositioning Cross River State as a leading tourism destination in Nigeria and Africa.

“Rep. Akiba lauded the Governor’s purposeful leadership, unyielding determination to revive moribund government facilities, and his bold efforts in charting a new course of development and progress.”

The report quoted Akiba as saying that “From the breathtaking Obudu Mountain Resort to the iconic Kwa Falls, Marina Resort, and the Tinapa Business and Leisure Resort, Governor Bassey Otu is breathing new life into the soul of Cross River’s tourism industry.”

He pledged his full support for the state government’s ongoing economic reforms and assured of continued collaboration to complement Otu’s agenda for sustainable development.
