The attention of Hon. Teejay Yusuf for Senate Media Team has been drawn to a laughable, jaundiced, parochial, and myopic individual Rtr. Nayo Jude Babatunde, a member of SDP.
Ordinarily, we would have ignored such a watery, kindergarten political essay with so much undertones trying to spore division within the ranks of the PDP candidates, unfortunately for the poor writer,the brainless essay lacks the required content to drive home it’s intended purpose and as such,it remains a lamentation of an ignoramus but for the general public and the good people of Kogi West, we have deemed it fit to clarify and set the record straight. It has become imperative to respond to the misleading trash of an article. The primary election has come and gone, the rest they say, is history. For anyone to say, Hon. Teejay Yusuf “managed” to win the Senatorial primaries is quite laughable because the margin of the re-run is there for all to see.
Hon. Teejay Yusuf is a party man who has not lost any election; be it as a Welfare Director of the prestigious University of Jos, or as General Secretary of NANS and a third-timer Representative Member who is serving the good people of Kabba/Bunu/Ijumu Constituency dutifully, dedicatedly and responsibly.
It is an incontrovertible fact that Kogi West is PDP and Hon. Teejay will win the 2023 Kogi West Senatorial seat because the voice of the people of Kogi West is the voice of God. Though the writer tried in vain to portray Hon. Teejay is an anti-party person, but we are forced to ask where were the writer and his co-sponsors when the incoming Kogi West Senator welcomed the former Speaker of Kogi State, Hon. Alfa Imam and his over 3000 followers to the Peoples Democratic Party on Thursday 5th of January 2023, where he told the decampees to vote for the candidates of the PDP from the level of the president to the assembly or how would rational being will ever imagine Teejay Yusuf will work against his own party in his constituency where he relied on to win his own election on same day ! Certainly,the writer must have written under the influence of narcotic substance.
It must be noted that Hon. Teejay cannot deny his closeness and respect for His Excellency Ezenwo Nyesom Wike, the Executive Governor of Rivers State and A stalwart of our great party.
However, for anyone to link our principal to anti-party activities due to his closeness to the Executive Governor of Rivers State is mischievous because it is the exclusive right of His. Excellency Governor Wike to invite or honour whoever he so desired.
Several governors from the non PDP states have visited the River State governor. Was Teejay Yusuf responsible for the invitation of Governor Babajide Sanwo Olu to the River State Government house? or Teejay Yusuf also facilitated the invitation of the Hon. Speaker Femi Gbajabiamila to the River State Government house? or the presence of former governor of Sokoto state Wamako was also carried out by Teejay Yusuf?.
I think there must be a limit when one is demonstrating act of folly,but the mind of the writer was beyond this reasonable threshold.
We are bold to say that anyone with a fact and record that Hon. Teejay Yusuf is having a secret deal regarding the forthcoming election with the Kogi State Governor, should publicly release the evidence.
Even though the poetry actually gave credence or portrayed Teejay Yusuf as the “ALL IN ALL” in Kogi PDP elections. The poorly written narrative essay actually emphasized more of the capacity of Teejay Yusuf as against the intended purpose of the writer . If Teejay Yusuf can work against PDP in his constituency as alleged by the poor writer,will it not have serious damages and effects on Teejay’s election? How will Teejay be working against the PDP House of Representatives candidate in his constituency when his election is on the same day and his major base relied on to win election is the same constituency they claim he is working against. Who is that rational being that will believe such substance induced narrative.
I think we should deviate from the issue of Wike by now, because Wike has NEVER been to our constituency,neither does he have any overbearing political influence on our constituents to make Teejay win election with all due respect to the person of HE Gov. Nyesom Wike. Was Wike in our constituency when Teejay won his Primaries elections in 2011,2015,2019 and his 2023 Senatorial primaries election in a landslide victory?
It is also laughable to think or give any meaning to the false and illogical assertion that Governor Yahaya Bello assisted Hon. Teejay Yusuf in the just concluded Senate primaries,as if it was His Excellency Yahaya Bello that assisted Teejay Yusuf in his election in 2011 House Of Rep primaries and the general election ?
There’s no doubt that Teejay Yusuf has given his best to his constituents and his party PDP, and consequently, he has been handsomely rewarded by same people through more opportunities to represent them at the National Assembly.
If these various empty and brainless media ranting are what the sponsors are relying upon to bring down the person of Teejay Yusuf,I think they have a lot of work to do between now and 2027.
Teejay Yusuf remains a committed party man, ready to work with and for all candidates of PDP within his political territory and committed to the election of the PDP Presidential candidate *Atiku Abubakar* ,as he has always preached in all his political campaign. This truth should be embraced rather than relying on frivolous and jobless media ranting.
The general public is advised to ignore the messenger and his message because It amounts to “a tale told by an idiot full with sound and furry but signifying nothing” with due respect to Shakespeare Macbeth.
