The attention of the members of the State Working Committee members and the majority of the SDP Party LG Chairmen from the zone have disassociated themselves from the so called meeting held and convened by some disgruntled elements and have referred to those who convened the meeting as people seeking political relevance.
In a statement signed by the State Welfare Secretary Comrade Momoh Sanni Hassan Ibrahim and Pastor Musa David Chibuyijo for the members of the working committee and six of the nine LG that from the zone.
They stated that the only known and recognized Zonal Chairman recognized by them is Comrade Suleiman Isah who was recommended by the zone and approved by the SWC.
The officers warned the public to be weary of Pastor Atabor who is parading himself as the zonal Chairman to desist from the script he is playing as this is a moment where all hands should be on deck to reposition the party in the zone.
‘To show their naivity they were saying that this is the first zonal meeting of our great party in the zone, what an insult’ it clearly shows they are in for a mission after we have met severally before now.
The State Chairman of the party Alh Mouktar Atimah who spoke Thenigerianpost said the SWC recognizes Comr Suleiman Isah as the Eastern acting Chairman of the Party.
