The attention of the Media team of the leading Governorship Aspirant under the banner of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Dr. Bolufemi Rotimi has been drawn to a post published by an online news blog where a self appointed “PDP chieftain”, Zaccheaus Abayomi; an acclaimed Political jobber, described Dr. Bolufemi as a ‘mole’.
It’s rather unfortunate that, Abayomi, who has an exerggerated false impression of himself still remains as ignorant as ever, as he continually demonstrates his insignificance wherever he goes.
This rejoinder is not meant to respond to the joblessness of Abayomi, but rather meant to set the records straight.
For real, Dr. Bolufemi Rotimi joined the PDP in 2004 and has remained steadfastly with the party as a financial card carrying member. To be sure, he was an aspirant to contest for the chairman of Ijumu Local Government Council in 2007 under the platform of the PDP, but at the verge of winning the primary election he was pasuaded to step down by the leadership of the party for late Owotogbe.
Secondly, in 2019 our principal, Dr Bolufemi paid good amount of money to all the House of Assembly candidates in kogi west 8 of them to support PDP and also finance the election of Atiku Abubakar and Dino Melaye in the west. All this can be verified.
As an added information, Bolufemi was at the forefront of the struggle to frustrate the state government sponsored recall processes of Senator Dino Melaiye. He deployed his personal financial resources for this course, hence, the recall process achieved monumental failure. This development has caused rancour and a serious cold war between Dr. Bolufemi and the administration of Alhaji Yahaya Bello. As we discuss on this subject matter, the business relationship hitherto enjoyed by Dr. Bolufemi and the present administration remained battered.
Dr. Bolufemi has neither worked for APC nor a registered Card carrying member of APC, but a good friend of the then Chief of Staff, and the present Deputy Governor to H.E, Alhaji Yahaya Bello for over a decade before the Deputy Governor joined politics. *Herein lies the ignorance of Abayomi, the political jobber*.
There are instances where some people left PDP for APC, contested elections under APC and returned to PDP to be given the ticket months after their deflection back to PDP. But here is the case of our principal, Dr. Bolufemi who has never left PDP for another party since he joined the party. Why this hue and cry over Dr. Bolufemi Rotimi? *This is the greatest question begging for an answer*
Dr. Bolufemi Rotimi has been a business morgul in Kogi State during the administration of the former governor of the state, H. E Alhaji Ibrahim Idris, and as a business morgul who is doing very well, he must have friends across the nation, irrespective of party affiliation.
It is then obvious that the news of Dr. Bolufemi being a mole is peddled by Abayomi to satisfy his paymasters. In his claim for instance, “Bolufemi has been working against PDP since 1015”. Was there PDP in 1015? Was Abayomi born in 1015? Was there Nigeria in 1015?
In a related development, *hear Abayomi*, “There are concrete evidences pointing to the fact that Bolufemi is a ‘mole’ on the People’s Democratic Party”. But Abayomi did not mention one evidence to justify his assertion.
*It will appear therefore, that Abayomi is out to throw stones, whereas he lives in a glass’ house*.
We are not distracted we mean business Okun will never settle for less other than Governor nothing more.
