… Praise Efforts of Comr. Onuh Edoka in Rallying Labour Support
The Radio, Television, Theatre and Arts Workers’ Union of Nigeria have felicitated with Kogi governor-elect, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo and his Deputy, Comr Joel Oyibo Salifu on their resounding victory in the just concluded governorship election.
RATTAWU in a statement signed by Comr. Haruna Isah Yakubu, Chairman, RATTAWU also praised the efforts of Comr. Onuh Edoka on the victory which they described as unprecedented revolution accomplished by the grace of God through the dogged determination of the executive governor of the state, Alhaji Yahaya Bello.
While RATTAWU described the victory as well deserved, a product of hardwork, said Comr. Edoka justified the confidence of Kogi workers in the aspiration of Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo.
“By our reckoning, and beyond partisan politics the victory represents our collective struggle for togetherness and sustain unity in diversity “.
RATTAWU admonished the governor elect to take cognisance of an Africa proverb that says” if you want to go fast, go alone, but if you want to go far, go together.
It therefore implored him to embrace collaboration, engaging with dissenting and build consensus to galvanize the people for an all inclusive governance.
