Congratulations mother, as you mark three years in office as Honourable Minister of State, Federal Capital Territory.
It has not been an easy journey and I am one of many who have been in the anal of this your journey and the remarkable achievements we can count on. We can only wish you more of God’s blessings as you continue to make the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration proud.
I am not surprised the number of achievements in your name in this journey so far. This was possible because long before your eventful sojourn in politics, you crystalised a noble dream of providing succour to Nigerians who ordinarily could not help themselves.
The milk of human kindness flowed so ceaselessly in your vein thus floating a Non-Governmental Organisation, christened Global Women and Youth Empowerment Strategy, GLOWYES. As an achiever of the finest hue, you derive your motivation for this initiative, all of your priceless passion to reclaim and return the place of both women and youth to the position of eminence they deserve as immutable catalysts for new order.
Having been a product of education, you persistently used GLOWYES and subsequently, Team Ramatu, to emphasise the importance of knowledge, especially for the rural women and youth, as functional basis of equipping them with realities of their potentials to the fullest. This saw also have you releasing creative genius of Nigerian youths and restoring the pride of women as fountain of moral armament and dependable custodian of stable family unit. It was therefore not surprising, your numerous achievements as Next Level Minister of State, Federal Capital Territory marking three (3) years today.
On this three years feat of yours, I wish to extend some of the words you have always encouraged me with:
“Your Excellency, mother and White Princess, don’t let anyone break you. There are sick people out there who get pleasure out of watching others suffer. There may always be people who secretly want to see you fail. You cannot let them make you fail. Stay strong, Stand tall and don’t ever let them see that their evilness is getting to you.
“Dearest mother, the best thing to give to your enemy is forgiveness; to an opponent, tolerance; to a friend, your heart; to your child, a good example; to a father, deference; to your mother, conduct that will make her proud of you; to yourself, respect; to all men, charity.”
Natural talent only determines where you start. It is dedication and discipline in your life that makes you great. I wish you Allah’s Rahama, now and always. On behalf of my family, friends and colleagues of FCT Universal Basic Education Board, we celebrate with you most sincerely.
