Ramadan: Kogi NUT greets Gov Bello, others


Kogi State Chapter of the Nigerian Union of Teachers, NUT, has felicitated with Governor Yahaya Bello on the successful begining of Ramadan.
In a statement, the State Chairman, Comrade Thomas Ayodele, wish the Governor a blessed Ramadan, praying that God should grant him all that his heart desires.
The statement noted further that Month of Ramadan is one full of blessings and on the strength of this, prayed that God will continue to uphold and strengthen the Governor on the onerous task of governance.
“NUT remains solidly behind the Governor and as a body, we will remain supportive and prayerful until our Governor achieve his ambition to lead this country and take the nation to a path of greatness, sustainable development, peace, security and harmony among the various ethnic groups”, the statement stated further.
Also, the union also felicitated with other Muslims in the state and wish them a success Ramadan.
It prayed that for their sacrifice, God will look down on them and the nation with mercy.
It enjoined Muslim faithful to use the season to lift the nation in prayer for the mercy of God to prevail.
