Ramadan: Dr Abbas Yahaya urge Kogi State Residents to Pray For The Progress and Success of gov Usman Ododo’s Administration
The Kogi State Project Coordinator for the Nigeria Erosion and Watershed Management Project (NEWMAP) Dr Abbas Yahaya , has urged Kogi State residents (Kogites) to use this Ramadan period to pray for the success of Governor Usman Ododo’s administration and the overall progress of Kogi State. He stated this in his office in Lokoja while addressing the newsmen.
*Dr Abbas* emphasized the importance of praying for peace, unity, and development in the state. He described Ramadan as a time of spiritual renewal, self-reflection and divine guidance, encouraging Kogites both home and in the diaspora to uplift one another through acts of kindness and charity.
*Dr Abbas* appeal is in line with the Islamic values of compassion, charity, and humility, which are emphasized during Ramadan. He also prayed for divine wisdom for leaders to tackle the numerous security challenges facing the nation, stressing the importance of supporting the present administration with prayers during the sacred month.
*Dr Abbas* uses this period of Ramadan to pray for peace and tranquility in our dear State. We must resist all provocations to violence and pray for our leaders to succeed and discharge their responsibilities to kogites.
*Dr Abbas* concluded by praying for the success of His Excellency *Usman Ododo’s* administration as he described the governor as the *chief servant of Kogi State* who has made notable strides in *Education, Youth Empowerment, Infrastructure and Welfare, delivering tangible results that resonate with the people.*
