QUEEN SHUAIBU TOBA DEMISE: A BIG LOSS TO KOGI’S INFORMATION COMMUNITY

We woke up to the sad news of the demise of Queen Shuaibu Toba, one of the most dexterous voices on our Radio, a dedicated staff of the Kogi State Broadcasting Corporation.

As a Ministry, this is a monumental loss of an irreplaceable voice, a lively and boisterous personality in her lifetime. Queen Toba worked so hard to make our broadcasting corporation one of the best in the state.
Her dedication and unparallel loyalty to the core values of our Ministry stood her out as a great asset that she was to the Ministry and the broadcasting corporation.
She served on many Committees that did the state proud and was a force in many organisations. This is undoubtedly an irreparable loss to the Ministry.
The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry and the Director General of the Kogi State Broadcasting Corporation have been directed to liaise with her family as we will be prepared to play some roles in the burial of the departed Queen.
We commisserate with her family and the media community as a whole. Queen fought gallantly until she was called to glory.
May her soul continue to rest in peace.

Hon. Kingsley Fanwo
Commissioner for Information and Communications
