QS Aminu Abubakar Suleiman’s New Year Message to the People of Kogi East and the Igala Kingdom.

My dear brothers and sisters of Kogi East and the Igala Kingdom,
As we step into a new year, I extend my warm greetings, sincere prayers, and heartfelt goodwill to you all. The beginning of a new year offers us a rare opportunity for reflection, renewal, and recommitment to the values that bind us together as a people.
The past year, like every human journey, came with its own challenges, lessons, and moments of growth. It has reminded us that leadership, service, and collective engagement demand humility, patience, and constant self examination. No individual or institution is without limitations, and progress is only possible when we are honest enough to acknowledge our shortcomings and courageous enough to correct them.
As a son of the Igala Kingdom and a stakeholder in the future of Kogi East, I wish to reaffirm my commitment to unity, dialogue, and mutual respect. Our strength as a people has always rested on our ability to forgive, to reconcile, and to place collective interest above personal considerations. Division weakens us, but understanding and cooperation elevate us.
In this new year, I pray for God’s mercy, wisdom, and guidance upon all of us. I pray for healing where there has been misunderstanding, peace where there has been tension, and renewed hope where discouragement may have set in. May this year strengthen our resolve to work together in sincerity, transparency, and love for one another.
I also take this moment to appeal to our elders, leaders, youths, and stakeholders to continue to engage one another with patience and openness. The future we desire for Kogi East and the Igala Kingdom will not be built by bitterness or exclusion, but by unity of purpose, constructive engagement, and shared responsibility.
As we move forward, I remain committed to serving with humility, listening with sincerity, and contributing my quota toward the advancement of our people. Together, by the grace of God, we can change narratives, restore confidence, and build a future that reflects our collective aspirations.
May this new year usher in peace, progress, and purposeful leadership for Kogi East, the Igala Kingdom, and our beloved nation.
God bless you all.
God bless Kogi East.
God bless the Igala Kingdom.
QS Aminu Abubakar Suleiman
