Prime Polytechnic Rector Cries Out For Support, As Rainstorm Destroys Buildings, Properties Worth Millions of Naira.
The Rector, Prime Polytechnic Gidan Bassa, located along Lokoja Ajaokuta road,
Dr. Benjamin Anierobi,
has cried out to Government and other well meaning organization, seeking support and collaboration following the million of Naira devastation caused by rain and wind storm to some buildings and properties at the institution yesterday.
In a chat with Newsmen after an on the spot assessment round the destroyed building and properties in the institution, Dr. Benjamin Anierobi, valued the damage at a cost of N18m, called for collaboration that would enable it boost the tertiary educational sector of the State.
The Rector disclosed that the institution is doing so much to push the tertiary institution forward, but described the magnitude of the destruction caused by the rain and wind storm as devastating, called for support from the State Government.
The Rector said the Prime Polytechnic is open to all kinds of collaboration for the development of the educational sector, solicited the support of the Government and other well meaning organizations.
