The Speaker Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt Hon. Mathew Kolawole has assured that everything humanly possible would be done to persuade Gov. Yahaya Bello to accept the offer to run the seat of the nation’s President come 2023.
Rt. Hon. Mathew Kolawole stated this in a remarks at the Gala night organised to mark the end of the First Annual GYB Seminar for Nigeria’s Political and Crime Correspondents held at Transcorp Hilton Hotel Abuja, says having done excellently well, Gov. Yahaya Bello deserves to be President of the Country come 2023.
The Lawmaker described Gov. Bello as an asset that must not be lost, said having seen his wonderful achievements, which cuts across all sphares of governance, deserves to be the Nation’s President.
He noted that Gov. Yahaya Bello has done well in the areas of security, unity amongst others critical to the nation, said he is eminently qualified to be the Nation’s President.
He said the enabling environment created by Gov Yahaya Bello has enabled the Kogi State House of Assembly to pass 58 bills, commended the governor for the fund management Autonomy bill.
He urged Journalists to to shun negative reports on Kogi, appeal to them to always verify their stories on the State.
