The Management of Abuja Electricity Distribution Company has announced a breakdown of it switching equipment at Zango.
The AEDC in a statement attributed the breakdown of the switching equipment to the cause of the present outage experienced in some parts of Lokoja and it’s environs.
The AEDC however assured that it is making frantic efforts to connect through an alternate source, however regretted that the rains experienced in Lokoja is hindering efforts due to the wet nature of the environment.
The AEDC however assured that it would try to restore back power to the affected areas as soon as the weather improves and it is conducive and safe enough for the operation, urged it customers to bear with the plight as it is temporary.
