– Prince Suleiman Adinoyi

The seed of our destiny is sown at the youthful age. A Nation and perhaps a state is built the moment where the higher population is youthful. Every institution is dependent on the youths because they determine the growth and future of such institutions and a representation of the later rain. This has made it imperative to opt for youths or a personality that values Youths for any leadership position of a country.

The emergence of His Excellency, Alh. Yahaya Bello as the Executive Governor of Kogi State did not only change the political landscape of the state but that of the country at large.

Governor Yahaya Bello has demonstrated the quality of Youths in governance. He has promoted positive outcomes by ensuring young people with skills, knowledge, commitment, and experience can reflect upon the common good, become full members of their state, and change the Nation for good.

For his last few years in office as the executive Governor of Kogi State, it is clear that he has upheld the Youth Development Model by focusing on activities that nurture developmental assets rather than maneuvering.

The endorsement and support of many of our Youths through the Kogi Enterprise Development Agency (KEDA), for instance, the Duketra, and presently Junimab’s Kogi Garri by Hon. Babamba Juwairra, the SSA on Youths Empowerment is a clear evidence that his ultimate goal is to help youth become successful adults, not just problem-free, but fully prepared to be responsible, contributing, and healthy adults.
