People of Bassa LGA called upon to turn out enmass Vote candidates of their choice in next week general election – Uye.

The Aguma and Clan Head of Edigeshi Kingdom of Bassa Local Government Area Chief Joshua Wabari Uye has called on electorate’s turn out enmass to perform their civic responsibilities.

Chief Joshua Stated this while speaking with our correspondent in his palace Akakana Community of Bassa Local Government Area.

The Aguma said it is the obligation of electorates to Vote for candidates of their choice and discouraged apathy of people towards coming Election.

The Royal father described electoral exercise as an important moment of decision making in leadership process of any country noting that participation in the process is sacrosanct.

The Paramant traditional ruler of Edigeshi Kingdom Chief Joshua Wabari Uye Commended INEC for their level of preparation so far and enjoined the Officials to maintain professionalism.

The Traditional Ruler called on politicians to play the excercise according to its rules to avoid confusion adding that leadership is giving by God.

The Clan Head of Edigeshi Kingdom Also appealed to all security agents to be proactive before during and after the electoral exercise pointing out that the protection of lives and property of the people is important.

Chief Joshua Thanked Governor Yahaya Bello for his efforts at transforming the state and appealed to the state government to construct Oguma Sheria, Akakana road to reduce the suffering of the people.

The Aguma of Edigeshi Kingdom Chief Joshua Wabari Uye reiterate determination to promote peace in his domain praying God to Grant President Muhammed Buhari Governor Yahaya Bello and his Deputy Chief Edward Onoja wisdom good health to pilot the afairs of the country to greater heights.
