PDP Youth Leader Hails Gov. Yahaya Bello Over Inauguration Of 30 Referral Ambulances, Modern Firefighting Trucks, Others

 

 

 

A Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) youth leader in Kogi State, Hon. Prince Oluwakayode Emmanuel Eseyin has congratulated the governor of the state, Alhaji Yahaya Bello over the inauguration of several vehicles to aid emergency responses, aid the quality of representation in the state House of Assembly as well as support administration of justice in the judicial arm and other institutions of government.

It was on this premises that Gov. Bello on Friday inaugurated Operational Vehicles comprising 30 State-of-the-Art referral Ambulances, Modern Firefighting Trucks, official vehicles for the State Assembly members and principal officers, Heads of the Judiciary, Heads of Institutions and others.

Responding to the good gesture at a news conference on Saturday in Lokoja, the state capital Hon. Eseyin said despite being a member of the opposition, he is pleased with the Governor’s commitment to governance despite approaching the tail end of his administration.

According to Hon. Eseyin, the governor has demonstrated that he is leaving no arm of government behind, even as he applauded the donation of the ambulances and fire fighting trucks which he said will support emergency responders in both the health sector and fire service in the state.

He said, “His Excellency Governor Yahaya Bello has again left the doubting Thomases dumbfounded with his latest giant stride to reposition the State House of Assembly for optimal performance with the donation of operational and official vehicles to the Honourable members.

“These are perfect times to be a Kogite, seeing a governor who does not see other arms of government as rivals but partners in the quest to put Kogi on the pedestal of progressively upward state.

“It is a win-win for the good people of Kogi who have consistently yearned for effective representation, robust health sector, quick and swift responses in emergency situations.

“I congratulate the governor and wish him for this re-committed energy to finish strong. Indeed history will be kind to him”, Hon. Eseyin stated.

The governor is due to bow out in coming months as his tenure winds down after completing his constitutional 2 terms of four years each.

He would hand over to His Excellency, Usman Ahmed Ododo who won the Nov. 11 governorship election in the state on the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC).
