By joshua PDP KOGI STATE MOURNS WITH HON. DAVID ZACHARIAS OVER MOTHER’S DEMISE
The Kogi State Peoples Democratic Party has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of the mother of Rt. Hon. David Idris Zacharias, PDP Candidate for Idah Federal Constituency and current member of the House of Representatives.
In a condolence message issued on behalf of the party on Monday, the Kogi State PDP Chairman, Hon. Mohammed Sani Gambo, described the loss as painful and a moment of grief not only for the Zacharias family but for the entire PDP family in Kogi East.
Hon. Gambo said the late matriarch was a woman of virtue who raised a son committed to service and to the welfare of the people of Idah Federal Constituency.
“We received with rude shock the news of the passing of the beloved mother of our candidate and sitting member, Rt. Hon. David Idris Zacharias. We pray that Almighty God grants her soul eternal rest and grants the family the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss,” the State Chairman stated.
He noted that Hon. Zacharias has remained a beacon of representation and a pride to the PDP, and that the party stands firmly with him and the entire family during this period of mourning.
The PDP Chairman urged the family to take solace in the good life the deceased lived and in the legacies she leaves behind through her children and community impact.
“We pray that God in His infinite mercy comforts Rt. Hon. David Zacharias, the Zacharias family, and the people of Idah Federal Constituency. May her soul rest in perfect peace,” Hon. Gambo added.
The Kogi PDP further called on party members and supporters across the state to rally around Hon. Zacharias with prayers and solidarity at this trying time.
