A non governmental Organization, Century 21 Freedom Group, says it is more concerned about teaching people how to fish rather than given them fish.
The NGO made the disclosure at the weekend when it fed over 300 families in Lokoja and offered Free medicals to people above ages 40 at a program held at Avenue Plaza Nostalgia Junction.
Idowu Olugbami, Consultant with Century 21 and Patron of Amazon Ambassador, made the disclosure at the feed the family Project held in Lokoja at the weekend, an initiative that handed free food and drugs to families.
According to the Consultant, the feed the family program started four years ago in Abuja, said following the impact made by the feed the family program in the last four years in Abuja, Century 21 decided to feed 5000 Families across the country.
The weekend program in Lokoja also witnessed a visit to the Orphanage homes, with the Consultant disclosing that the feed the family program also offers opportunity for others to be part of generating income as well as becoming givers.
Idowu Olugbami explained that members of Century 21 are concerned about touching lives of other positively so that those helped today can help others tomorrow.
The feed the family program aside the free feeding Initiative was used to show people skills that will help them generate income for life.
Items given out include Indomie noodles, Rice, Groundnut Oil, is aimed at enabling the people enjoy the Yuletide as well as putting smiles on the faces of the less privileged in the society’.
