Pastor Roseline Omowumi Alabi, the Executive Director of Dual Care and HIV Prevention Initiative has sent a message of appreciation to Gov. Yahaya Bello for his support to Mrs Grace Tinuke Ganiyu, who was operated of Ovarian cancer, disclosed that the Support from the governor assisted funding the Successful operation.
Mrs Alabi described the Governor as gender friendly Governor, made the disclosure while presenting the balance sum of N10,000 from the N500,000 donated by Gov. Bello for the operation.
Mrs Alabi appreciated Gov. Bello for coming to the aide of Mrs Grace Tinuke Ganiyu with the support of N500,000, expressed appreciation that the operation was successful, and handed over the balance sum to Mrs Grace.
Recalled that Mrs Grace had earlier been diagnosed of Ovarian cancer and was charged the sum of N250,000 but was unable to raise the money. Through the intervention of Pastor Alabi, she could raise only raise the sun of N120,000 before the intervention of Gov. Yahaya Bello.
Mrs. Alabi who also is the North Central Coordinator of Civil Society Eradication of Cancer in Nigeria and the North Central Coordinator of the Civil Society on the Health Right of Women and Girls in Nigeria, said for four months she could only raise N120, 000 for the treatment of Mrs Grace Tinuke Ganiyu, described Gov. Bello for having a listening ears, came to the rescue with N500,000 amount used for the surgery and chemotherapy.
Pastor Alabi thanked Gov. Bello for the support, said with the support, the operation was successfully carried out at the Federal Medical Centre Lokoja, expressed joy that after the operation, Mrs Grace had been discharged.

The Executive Director prayed God to grant Mrs Grace Tinuke Ganiyu divine healing as well as speedy recovery, said her appreciation to Gov. Bello for making it happen would remain indelible in her minds and the NGOs she represent.
She prayed God to grant Gov. Bello success in his Presidential Aspiration, pointing out that the Governor has proven beyond measures that he has all it takes to govern the country when juxtaposed with his achievements in the health Sector.
