Elder Leke Abejide has been commended for emerging as the best Kogi Lawmaker to have served in the House of Representatives in the State’s history.
Samson Afolayin made the disclosure after the lawmaker was presented with an award as best Kogi Lawmaker at the weekend, praised him for breaking the jinx of non performance and setting new record in the State’s history, disclosed that Elder Leke is a pride for making the constituency proud.
The award was conferred on the Lawmaker Representing Yagba Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives in Lokoja by the “The Nigerian Post Newspaper” during her annual lecture on the topic: “Governance, Leadership Re-Defined, This House Must Not Fall”.
Mr. Samson lauded Elder Leke’s achievements, described it as no mean achievements, praised him for proven to be the best in the country, added that he has met the yearning and aspirations of the people he represents.
Mr. Samson described Elder Leke’s laudable achievements since representation in the Constituency as laudable, disclosed that they are proud of his efforts at putting smiles on the faces of the people with infrastructure and empowerment, a feat never achieved in the past.
” From all that you have achieved thus far, you’ve not disappointed the people of Yagba in the laudable achievements you have achieved thus far even as we look forward to your overwhelming victory in 2023″.
Mr. Samson described Elder Leke as a goal getter and one who has exceeded his campaign promises, pointing out that the constituency is well pleased with his achievements.
Mr Samson urged him to sustain the feat he has attained across Nigeria and in the State, pointing out that the award should spur him in doing more for the people.
