WITHDRAWAL OF MEMBERSHIP
I hereby wish to formally announce to you that as of today, I have officially withdrawn my membership of the People’s Democratic Party.
This action has become necessary in view of the party’s inability or unwillingness to purge itself of the kind of divisive internal politics and otherwise that precludes the younger generation from any meaningful participation.
The party has become enslaved to selected politicians who have been reoccurring decimals as party candidates in various positions in every election cycle with abysmal results. This is intolerable and totally unacceptable.
This behavior has also unfortunately alienated many loyal party members and supporters, and it seems the party is not ready to correct this negative perception despite very ominous signs and omens. All these issues have made my current action quite unavoidable.
In conclusion, the party should appreciate those of us bold enough to publicly criticize what we perceive as wrong rather than those who publicly support but harbor clandestine motives even after benefitting immensely from the party presently and in the past and are also now holding secret meetings with Kogi APC on how to subvert the PDP in the upcoming Kogi elections.
However, in spite all of the above, you may still please wish to accept my sincere gratitude for the years well spent in your fold and whatever support was accorded me during this period as I too, wish you better days ahead.
