Otunba APS Arogundade Bags Doctorate Degree from ECWA Theological Seminary, Igbaja, Kwara State


A Philanthropist and Information Communication and Technology mogul, Otunba APS Arogundade has been conferred with an Honorary Doctorate Degree of Ministry from ECWA Theological Seminary Igbaja Kwara State.

Otunba Arogundade was conferred with the honour alongside some eminent Nigerians at the weekend in view of his commendable service to God and humanity.

The Provost of the ECWA Theological Seminary Igbaja Kwara State, Rev. John Oluadetoyese said the honour was a reward for service to God and humanity.
“We decided to honour this humble man for his humanitarian services, sponsorship of over three hundreds Pastors of ECWA and beyond for Christian Pilgrimage in Jerusalem and Huge support for the institution.” The Provost maintained.

According to him, the Philanthropist is a blessing to mankind and urged him not to relent but do more for the propagation of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Responding, Otunba APS Arogundade thanked the Seminary for the honour done him, saying it will spur him to do more for the people.

Otunba Arogundade who was delighted with the honour, stated that it was unexpected and dedicated the award to God, his family and his numerous supporters across the country.

He enjoined the church to continue to pray for more peace, progress and development of Nigeria especially now that Covid-19 pandemic is ravaging the entire world.

“Covid-19 which is very deadly shut down the economy of the world. Even those who have many cars, could not move them out of their houses. When you have shoes and clothing that are expensive and there’s no place to wear them to.”

“I think there’s a lesson that God wants us to learn from this pandemic. My lessons may be different to yours. We should everything in this life as vanity.” the APC Kogi Chieftain added.

He admonished the church not to lose hope as “there’s light after every tunnel” but look unto God who has the solution to all problems.
