Otunba Adeniyi Olayemi. So’mi Edumare Mourns Passing Away of Chief Olobatoke Kayode Joseph(OKJ), Chief Aiyewumi Oluwole Henry( Rtd. Controller of Immigration)


 

Described them as worthy ambassadors who came, conquered, Left indelible marks.

Otunba Adeniyi Olayemi. So’mi Edumare, Kogi West Peoples Democratic Party Senatorial District Aspirant has described today as a black Saturday in the lives of the People of Kabba, following the death of their two illustrious son.

 

Otunba Adeniyi in a statement issued to Newsmen described the death of Chief Olobatoke Kayode Joseph ( OKJ) and Chief Aiyewumi Oluwole Henry ( Rtd. Controller of Immigration), as one too many, described it as a terrible blow that has hit the people.

The Senatorial District Aspirant in the Statement said: ” This blow is too much for me. I have lost to mentors. There lives were examples for me in sincerity and selfless sacrifice”.

Otunba Adeniyi said Chief Olobatoke Kayode Joseph ( OKJ) was an epitome of community development, lamented that such a man who was a father figure to him would be greatly missed, pointing out that he died when I needed a compass to navigate the quest to positively represent our People.

He equally lamented that the demise of Chief Aiyewumi Oluwole Henry ( Rtd. Controller of Immigration), is coming at a time when his wise counsel and Leadership was most needed, said he will be missed for his Positive Community Impact.

While he Condoled with the families of the deceased worthy ambassadors, men whom he said have paid their dues in all sincerity of purpose, urged their families to take solace in the fact that they came saw and conquered.

Otunba Adeniyi described they deceased as worthy ambassadors who came, conquered, Left indelible marks on the sands of time, said they would be greatly missed as they have left vaccum that would be difficult to fill.

He prayed that God Almighty will grant the family they left behind the fortitude to bear the loss and prayed for the peaceful repose of their souls.
