Otunba Adeniyi Olayemi (So’Mi Edumare), has described as a sad and monumental loss the demise of Madam Florence Awoniyi.
The former Kogi West Peoples Democratic Party Senatorial District Aspirant in a statement issued to Newsmen, described the death of Madam Florence as coming at a time her wise counsel would have been most needed.
While noting that her death is not only a big loss to the entire country, disclosed that her passing away has created a vacuum in Kogi State that would be difficult to fill.
” I received with shock the sudden demise of the matriarch of Awoniyi’s family, Madam Florence Awoniyi.
There is no gainsaying the fact that Mama lived a life of commitment, one dedicated to the service of God and humanity.
Mama, portrayed every attributes of a virtuous woman, exemplary virtue’s that are clearly reflected on all her children as can be epitomized in the life of Arc. Yomi Awoniyi, a shining light to our generation.
I want to specifically and specially on behalf of my family, friends and political associate’s felicitate with the Awoniyi dynasty, our Former Deputy Governor, Arc. Yomi Awoniyi and all the children over this irreparable loss”.
Otunba Adeniyi urged the family Madam Florence Awoniyi left behind to take solace in the fact that the highly reverred Matriarch lived a fulfilled life and prayed God to grant her soul eternal rest.
