
The Onu Igbologwu of Emewe in Biraidu District, Dekina Local Government Area, Ajofe Mathew Daikwo has urged government to provide the area with infrastructures to enhance the socio economic lives of the people.

Ajofe Daikwo made the appeal at the 2022 end of year get together of Lokoja Branch of Biraidu District Development Association, BDDA.

He noted with concern, the deplorable condition of Abocho-Emewe-
Achigili road, saying the area also lacks the public power source.

He explained that the population of the people in the area demanded that they enjoy such infrastructure, urging government to extend its hand of fellowship to the area.
Ajofe Daikwo commended Governor Yahaya Bello for the development efforts so far and enjoined the government to extend its legacy projects to his people.
Also speaking, a former Director General, Ministry of Works, Alhaji Abubakar Akowe noted that much have been achieved inspite numerous challenges.
Alhaji Abubakar appreciated the members of the Association for their zeal at making things work positively in the period under review.
The former Director General who was the Chairman of the planning committee of the event, described the programme as very successful considering the times.
Other speakers at the event all stressed the need for unity among members for speedy growth of the area.
