‎Onu Abocho and Paramount Ruler of Biraidu Receives Commendation letter, praises Abocho Development Association in Lokoja for unity and sense of focus



‎The Onu Abocho and Paramount ruler of Biraidu in Dekina Local Government Area, Ajofe Jonah Idris Okai has commended the Lokoja branch of Abocho Development Association, ADA for the unity and sense of commitment to the development of their community.

‎Ajofe Jonah Idris Okai made the remark at his palace in Abocho while receiving a letter of commendation from the Abocho Development Association, Lokoja branch.


‎The traditional ruler noted that such foresight gives him the encouragement to do more, stressing that he was so delighted that his modest contributions were being noticed by his people.

‎He particularly commended the leadership of the Association for its commitment to duty, resilience and for being focused on the prospects and challenges facing the people of Abocho, emphasizing that development is all encompassing and requires collective efforts.

‎”I am happy to receive such a letter from ADA, Lokoja branch, it means you people are in touch with your community and its people, it means you are x-raying the programmes at all stages and I must confess that I am so impressed, even as I am aware of your activities, including your recent end of year get-together”, he stated.

‎On the security challenges, the Onu Abocho assured that he will continue to do his best to ensure peace and tranquility in his domain, noting that the lives and property of the people should be protected.

‎Ajofe Jonah Idris Okai also expressed gratitude to the Local Government Chairman, Hon. John Urah Ikani for his deligence in his duties, saying he has so far demonstrated competence on all matters.

‎Earlier, while presenting the letter of commendation to the Onu Abocho, the representative of Abocho Development Association, Dr Samuel Atuluku said it was a concensus that the letter be given to the traditional ruler based on his performances so far.

‎According to him, the humanitarian activities, infrastructural development, security contribution as well as health concerns, attention and general benevolence was worthy of commendation, hence their resolution to convey the commendation and appreciation.

‎Doctor Samuel Atuluku assured that ADA will continue to add its voice in all development matters and urged the traditional ruler to be focused at placing Abocho on the world map based on the abundant human and natural blessings.

‎Highlight of the visit was special prayer for the Ayiduu and the general growth of Abocho and Dekina Local Government Area.
