
The Kogi State Office For Disability Affairs has clocked one year, with the Executive Secretary, Barr. Zacchaeus Dare Michael describing the 365 days as eventful.

Barr. Dare in a statement issued to Newsmen to mark the one year in office said we have made milestones with the support of Gov. Yahaya Bello.
Speaking further, Barr. Dare described KOSODA as the best thing to have happened to the disability Community in Kogi State since the creation of State.
According to the Executive Secretary, the office has not only given a sense of belonging to the disability Community, in terms of empowerment, pointed out that the disability Community has never had it so good like it is presently doing with KOSODA.
While pointing out that KOSODA has created the needed platform for the Disability Community in the State, described the capacity building and empowerment for members as unprecedented under his Leadership.
The Executive Secretary thanked Gov. Bello for handing over a befitting accomodation as office for the Commission, said the disability Community will remain eternally grateful to the Government of Gov. Bello.
Barr. Dare used the statement to thank members of the disability Community for the support in the last one year promising that he will continue to work with the realization of the objectives set for KOSODA.
Barr. Dare assured Gov. Bello of the continued support of the administration of the disability Community, described the administration as most disability Community friendly Governor the State has ever had.
