ONAH OF ABAJI HOSTS ENGR. BASHIRU JAGORAN MATASA, ASSOCIATES, CHARGES YOUTH ON PEACE AND COMMUNITY SERVICE

His Royal Majesty, Alh. Yunusa Baba Adamu, the Onah of Abaji and Chairman, FCT Traditional Council of Chiefs, on Tuesday received a delegation of friends and political associates on a courtesy visit to his palace.
The delegation, led by the Jagoran Matasa of Abaji, Engr. Bashiru Gegu, said the visit was to check on the wellbeing of the royal father and to receive his fatherly blessings and guidance.
Speaking after the visit, the Jagoran Matasa noted that as a member of the Abaji Traditional Council, it remains his responsibility to uphold traditional values and maintain closeness to the institution that unites the people of Abaji.
During the engagement, HRM the Onah of Abaji emphasized the importance of peace, unity, youth involvement in governance, and service to community. He described the growth of any society as beginning with respect for leadership and commitment to collective progress.
The delegation expressed appreciation to the monarch for the warm reception and counsel, describing the Onah of Abaji as “a pillar of peace not just for Abaji, but for the entire Nation.”
They also pledged continued loyalty to the throne and commitment to supporting initiatives that promote development, harmony, and the wellbeing of the people.
Prayers were offered for the monarch’s long life, good health, and wisdom to continue leading the traditional council.
