As the saying goes, may our labour not be in vain. That justifies the commitment and efficiency of an alumnus of the College who in the last sixteen years, has dedicated herself in the world respected profession of teaching and has been spotted and certified as the best teacher in the country 2023 by the federal government.
Apalowo Omolade graduated from the College in 2006 and read Computer/ Physics. She hails from Omuo – Ekiti,in Ekiti State.
She was presented with the award of the best teacher of the year by the Vice President, His Excellency, Kashim Shettima at the Eagle Square, Abuja.
The award was accompanied with certificate and a brand new car.
The pedigree of Federal College of Education, Okene, in the last 49 years of her existence in the production of well trained teachers is unequal. That is in affirmation of her motto, knowledge par excellence.
