Kogi State Security Adviser, Comdr Jerry Omodara (retired) has called on public spirited individuals to support the State Government in its fight against insecurity.
Comdr. Omodara made the call at the second phase of empowerment Programme by the Senator representing Kogi West, Smart Adeyemi at Iyara, Ijumu Local Government Area.
The State Security Adviser, who commended the Federal Lawmaker for donating motorcycles to enhance the State Community Policing effort, said more of the support is need to fight crimes and criminality at the grassroots.
According to him, Government has identified the need for motorcycles for reaching hard to hideouts of criminals especially at rural Areas.
He stated that the Motorcycles will be distributed accordingly across the seven Local Government Areas of Kogi West, urging other well meaning persons of the State to emulate Senator Adeyemi.
Similarly, Commander Jerry Omodara, has presented Keys of a Tricycle to a party faithful in Olle/Oke Offin ward, Mr Yemi Elijah donated by Senator Smart Adeyemi.
He expressed appreciation to the Senator for the gesture to Olle/Oke Offin Ward, urging the Secretary to use the Tricycle to be self reliant.
