Omala Lawmaker, Hon. Umar Yahaya Congratulates Muslims on Eid-el-Fitri
The Member, Representing Omala State Constituency in the Kogi State House of Assembly, Hon. Umar Yahaya has congratulated Muslim faithful across the world and particularly the Muslim residents and the sons and daughters of Omala LGA on the successful completion of this year’s Ramadan fast and commencement of the celebration of Eid’l –Fitr.
“On behalf of myself and Family, want to congratulate the Muslim Ummah for witnessing the end of this year’s Ramadan and to thank them for the continued prayers for Peace, security and progress.”
The Lawmaker enjoined the Muslim ummah continue to put the Local Government Area, the State and the Country in their prayers for God’s interventions in the existential threats facing humanity.
Hon. Umar used the opportunity to specially congratulate and thank the Kogi State Governor Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo for his support to the vulnerable and weak during the Ramadan period.
He prayed Almighty Allah will continue to deepen the love of the people in the heart of the Governor and other leaders at all levels of governance.
He urged the faithfuls to be vigilant during the festive period while maintaining peace, law and order.
Hon. Umar prayed that the lessons of Ramadan, the love for the less privileged and vulnerable, the desire for good deeds continue to be our guiding light.
He described the administration of Gov Ododo as one that has met with the yearning and aspirations of the people, particularly citizens of Omala Local Government, assured that the people are resolved to sustain their support for the Governor.
