The Chairman of Omala Local Government Area , Honourable Mark Ameh Edibo has paid the hospital bill of an indigene of ODOMUKPO in Omala Local Government Area of Kogi State who was pregnant for seven months and lost the baby after bleeding for six days.
This followed the News that filtered to his office that the patient was held back for her inability to pay the hospital bill of 348,000 Naira at Peace Hospital, Anyigba, Dekina Local Government Area.
Hon Mark said he cannot afford to look the other way even when he was aware of the situation which he described as very pathetic.
Responding to the Chairman’s act of philanthropy, the Medical Officer in charge of the Hospital, Dr. Iheanacho prayed for God’s guidance for the New Chairman of Omala Local Government Area to enable him do more for his people.
