.. as family cry for Justice

The Peaceful Community of Ologbo in Ologbo Dukedom, in Ikpoba Okha Local government Area of Edo State, Was yesterday , Saturday 15th May 2021, thrown into mourning mood as they buried two of their kinsmen who were murdered in cold blood last year in the community.
The two sons, Okhuoimose Omorodion and Genesis Orji we’re gruesomely murdered last year in Ologbo community by some gun men .
The Youths in their thousands lined up the road from Stella Obasanjo Hospital Mortuary in Benin City, where the corpse were kept since last year, and later moved in a motor cade to Ologbo community.
As the corpses arrived in Ologbo, the entire community was thrown into mourning mood , as not even the whistling of the birds could be heard.
After the interment which was carried out simultaneously by the agrieved youths, the people went home mournfully.
Sadness, Sorrow envelope the whole community, sobering by both the old and the youth clamouring that Justice should prevail rented the air.
A brother of late Okhuoimose Omorodion , aka Minister , told Nigerian Post, ” that it was painful to bury two youths in the community at the same time.
“My brother, Okhuoimose Omorodion and Genesis Orji we’re murdered for no Just cause, they committed no crime ,but someone just termiate their precious life.
“The two people could not be buried since last year because there were anger in the land. So the fear, that the youths will want to retaliate was there. But thank to God almighty, the elders of the community in their own wisdom, called a general meeting of both the young and old, and pleaded that everyone should remain calm and let peace reign.
“Glory be to God, today everything went smoothly without any hitch, no fighting.the youths comforted themselves in peacefully manner without fighting.
” We are appealing to governor Obaseki to speedy Justice,so that those involved in gruose murder of our beloved children are brought to book.With this I will assure you that peace will reign in Ologbo Dukedom.
The Okaighele of Eghobaye community under Ologbo Dukedom, Osarumwense Oseghale, said, we are not happy that our brothers, Okhuoimose Omorodion and Genesis Orji, died in gun shot , because of what Johnson have done to them.
” We are begging government to let Justice prevail, and should be fast in dispensing Justice, as Justice dely is Justice denied. we are not happy, but we have to control ourselves, because we are youths who listen to elders advice.
Meanwhile, 3 suspects ,Austin Olokor, Isaiah Akpani and Sunday Bokiti Amama are currently facing trial in Criminal Court 4 in Benin City for the alleged murder of Okhuoimose Omorodion and Genesis Orji , who were murdered in cold blood. End.
