The Okumagu of Ekuzi land in Kogi local government area, High Chief Adamu Salihu Rahmat has felicitated with the Governor of Kogi state, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo on his impactful two years in office.
High Chief Adamu Rahmat who described Governor Ododo’s two years on the saddle of leadership as memorable also felicitated with his deputy, Comrade Joel Salifu, and members of the state executive council .
The Okumagu of Ekuzi noted that within two years in office, the Governor has turned around Kogi state into a heaven of accelerated development , stressing that he has proven his metle in the area of workers welfare, construction of urban and rural roads, greater achievements on health, education and agricultural sector and tackling the monstrous security challenges in the state.
The traditional ruler praised Governor Ododo for his prompt support to the construction of a befitting multi purpose town hall situated at Agbudu community in the area and recent approval for it roofing and completion through the facilitation of Ambassador Abubakar Sanusi , the Gamji of Kogi Central and Chairman Tinubu Support group ( T S G ).
He urged the Governor to help work on the electrification project from Okpareke – Okofi – Ekuzi – Adangere – Ette Edegaki and Construction of the road connecting over twenty communities in Ekuzi land and assured the Governor of their massive support for his second term in office.
