The Chairman of Okene Local Government, Engr. Abdulrazaq Muhammad has condemn the gruesome murder of a physically challenged mother of three, Aisha in Obehira axis of Okene local government area in the early hours of Wednesday, June 7, 2023.
This heinous crime was allegedly committed by the deceased lover, Isiak, an indigene of Okene local government over allegations of financial misunderstanding and infidelity.
The council chairman who visited the scene of the incidence as well as the families of the deceased to condole with them described the incidence as evil, callous, avoidable and highly unfortunate that must not go unpunished.
Hon. Abdulrazaq disclosed that security agencies have already put in place necessary security machineries with a view to arrest the perpetuator of this crime and bring him to book. While urging the family and youths of the community not to take laws into their hands, the council boss assures the people that government will do all it takes within the ambit of the law to arrested Isiak and bring him to justice.
He prayed Allah to grant the deceased eternal rest and the family the fortitude to bear the painful loss.
