… Commends President Buhari
The Arewa Youths, Kogi State Chapter, has sent a message of congratulations and expressed her utmost gratitude to His Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari for distingushing and lifting of Kogi State from her behind hand status to now an oil producing State.
The Arewa Youths in a statement signed by its Chairman, Prince Tanimu Abubakar, said it is evident considering the plethora of positive things that has happened to Kogi State in the last few years, most especially supporting a youthful soldier of fortune who employed dexterity to turn the fortune of the state around.
The leadership of the Arewa Youths noted that the emergence of Governor Yahaya Bello which stemmed from the All Progressive Congress (APC) stalwart’s support had become the best thing ever to happen to the state because the governor has through his dint of hardwork repaid the trust reposed on him by the national leadership of the APC.
The Arewa Youths said this is evident in the achievements by Governor Yahaya Bello for vigorously- pursuing the induction of the confluence state into the league of oil producing states in Nigeria.
The Arewa Youths said the support by the President Buhari led Federal Government is laudable because it wouldn’t have been possible without the help of the executive arm.
The Arewa Youths also reiterated her appreciation to Governor Yahaya Bello who genuinely pursued the interest of Kogites to this point of unending gain.
The Statement said: ” Without doubt, this is a legacy that will stand the test of time. For this and many more that Governor Bello has achieved for Kogi state, he deserves the height of gratitude for his result oriented leadership which has catapulted the State to an enviable height.
In conclusion, the Arewa Youths through her leadership congratulated the good people of Kogi State for this milestone which has once again affirmed the natural resources richness of the state.
