The Ohimegye Igu, Koton-Karfe, HRM Alhaji Saidu Akawu Salihu has described the death of Imam Abubakar Umar Gegu as a loss to the Kingdom.
The Ohimegye made the disclosure while on a visit to the family as part of the 3rd day fidau prayers of the deceased, described the passing away of the patriarch as a loss to Igu kingdom.
The Traditional Ruler described the death of a man known for peace and unity of the kingdom as unfortunate, expressed deep sadness over the news of the passing away of Imam Abubakar.
The Ohimegye particularly condoled with Engr. Bashiru Gegu, urged him to be consoled by the legacies of impact his father left behind.
