By joshua Ododo’s 2nd term sacrosanct as opposition finally crumbles in Kogi

There is no contest for a place with a high class performer. This indeed can aptly be said of the Chief Servant of Kogi State, His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo who has solidly stamped his exemplary and humane leadership in the affairs of Kogi State.
It is never rhetoric but a reality on ground on the excellent performance of Governor Ododo in the socio-economic development of Kogi State. He is an astute political leader who has continued to touch the lives of the people of the state right from the grassroot level to the urban centers of the state.
The humane disposition of His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo’s administration has direct impact on the welfare of the people thus decimating all the remnants that hitherto used to be opposition parties in the state. Today there are no more opposition parties in Kogi State.
His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo in the last two years has been able to carry the people of the state irrespective of their strata into the main fold of his administration. Each of the two hundred and thirty nine wards in the state today have representatives in the governor’s administration known as Ward Assistants. This indeed has enabled the least voice to be heard in the formation of the policies of the state.
Few weeks back, His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo had an encounter with the media on the proposed Airport in the state. His explanation on the plan for the Airport was simple. According to him “the design of the Airport is ready but as is custom to my administration I have given room for the people of the state to take a critical look at the design with the view for my people to have their input.” This statement is very clear of a humble leader who believes in carrying along his people in the day to day running of his administration.
Only recently former Governor Idris Wada acknowledged the giant strides of His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo in the last two years. He took a decisive move to join the winning administration of the APC led-administration in the state.
Former Governor Wada was not the only politician who took the decision to move from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for APC in the state. Former Deputy Governorship aspirant on the platform of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Hon Samuel Abenemi, former Kogi State House of Assembly Speaker Imam Umar Ahmed, three serving opposition Assembly members in the state and other big time politicians in other parties moved en-masse and joined the moving train of APC in the state on Monday.
Like Vice President Shettima Kashim said at the decamping ceremony held at the Muhammed Buhari Square Lokoja, “the decampees are fully convinced on the positive performance of the renewed hope agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the positive performance of His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo in Kogi State.” This indeed is the truth of all times. The performance of His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo in the state has crumbled the opposition in the state and made the second term bid of the governor sacrosanct.
When the event for the decamping ceremony was been held on Monday, all roads that led to the state capital were closed following the mass movement of the people who moved to Lokoja the State Capital to witness the ceremony.
People from all the twenty one Local Government Areas of the state came in droves to show their solidarity to the All Progressives Congress administration led by the Chief Servant of the State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo. If anything, the crowd is a clear prove that Kogi State is totally APC and nothing less. The superiority of APC in Kogi State is not disputable, it is the only party in Kogi State and nothing more.
The entire Kogi Senatorial districts are happy with the positive and impactful administration of His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo. On Monday the electorates of the state came out and throng the Muhammed Buhari Square to prove their solidarity for the high level performance of His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo.
Kogi electorates are today convinced that they have no other candidate for 2027 Kogi governorship election but His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo. Indeed there is no vacancy in Kogi’s Lugard House. It is – Your Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, Carry Go.
As for 2027 it is ONE GOOD TERM DESERVES ANOTHER TERM. CARRY GO YOUR EXCELLENCY ALHAJI AHMED USMAN ODODO COME 2027.
